PROJECTS

Underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV)                                                                                    August 2025 – December 2025

  • Built a cost-effective ROV with a cross-functional team of 6 to identify and retrieve objects from ~8 feet underwater 

  • Led mechanical design of the vehicle’s PVC frame and custom 3D-printed components, balancing buoyancy, hydrodynamic performance, and ease of assembly; created a detailed assembly model of the entire vehicle using SolidWorks

  • Conducted iterative testing and validation cycles, implementing design improvements that enhanced propulsion efficiency, stability, and retrieval reliability, resulting in successful identification and recovery of all target objects within 10 minutes

Token Taker Machine August 2024 – December 2024

  • Collaborated on the design of a token-sensing-and-collecting machine for Kidzu Children’s Museum; engineered a storage system that increased capacity by 68%, optimized tolerances for smooth operation, and met child-safety requirements 

  • Achieved 100% operational reliability through structured prototype testing and validated thermal resilience up to 140°F
